This is our Interactive Barcode Helper (iBAR) website.
Our missions is to provide a tool where users can use barcodes to access stored photos or videos to learn more about a topic. The barcode contains the link to the file. Thus, users can scan these barcodes using their cellphones to reach the file. This idea has great potential to be used as part of tutorials and books on Kinesiology. As an example, the user reading a book in kinesiology can scan barcodes of different exercise in the book to see a movie showing how that specific excercise should be performed.
My name is Sara Khosravi Nasr and I am a Master student in Kinesiology program at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
I am doing my Master degree under supervision of Prof. Weimo Zhu. I am doing this research project as part of my Master thesis and this phase of the project
has been performed during spring 2011 as my independant study.
